Great experience. A unique culture. Very nice people. Amazing how many people speak English.
Class is divided on whether they would want to live and work in Japan because of the homogenous nature of society. See examples of men in suits coming out of bars and restaurants late at night. Hear accounts that the younger generation is working toward striking a better home-work balance though. It will get tougher for Japan to protect their culture as the world continues to globalize.
