The
EMBA 26 students just completed their International Field Seminar in Chile and
Peru. They visited both Santiago, Chile and
Lima, Peru on their trip. Some continued on to the Cusco Region in Peru to
climb Machu Picchu, a breathtaking 15th-century Incan estate built atop the
Andes mountains. During the seminar, students had the opportunity to
participate in a number of activities.
The class is divided into teams focused on specific industry sectors. Each team is tasked with creating a new product or service for development in either Chile or Peru. Throughout the field seminar teams had site visits to research their industries and learn about doing business in Chile and Peru. Each team was asked to reflect on their site visits and experience on the trip.
