Prague Castle

We've spent our first morning in Prague taking in the amazing views of the city from our Tour of the Prague Castle. This is the largest castle in Europe and the architecture spans an amazing range of movements, from Roman, Baroque, Gothic, Renaissance, and Neo Classical. The Old Royal Palace Buildings, St. Vitus's Cathedral, and St. George's Basilica are truly wondrous.

We also got to take in some Cross Bow practice along the way! They Knight's equipment and chambers used for jousting tournaments in the great hall were a little menacing. We are headed across the Charles Bridge and into Old Town square this afternoon after our lunch at the castle.
